About Us

At ATOC Auto, we understand how important it is to feel confident that any work completed on your 4WD is done correctly and neatly to ensure you enjoy your investment for a long time!

Aaron Carlton is passionate about the automotive industry, and diesel engines in particular, ever since he was a young lad. After completing an apprenticeship with Caterpillar, Aaron started working for himself under the ATOC Auto name in 1988.

ATOC Auto have over 34 years of experience, specialising in servicing and modifying the large range of popular 4WDs, both soft roaders and the serious off-roaders, including, but not limited to Toyota Hilux, Landcruiser, and Prado, Nissan Patrol, Ford Ranger, and Mitsubishi Pajero. We cover everything including, pre-trip servicing, GVM upgrades, and chassis upgrades and repairs.

Our work motto is “Do the job right the first time and don’t skimp on servicing, look after your car and it will look after you!”

It’s one thing to understand how to service and modify vehicles, but what sets ATOC Auto apart from other diesel and 4WD specialists are Aaron’s personal and professional experiences. As a CFA volunteer with his local brigade in Belgrave South, Aaron spends time looking after people, property and the bush. He has also been competing in 4WD events since he could drive and has an impressive list of credits to his name.

These experiences have taught Aaron what does and doesn’t work for touring - any touring products or modifications that can handle extreme off-road action will go the distance anywhere in Oz!

Aaron’s passion for the 4WD touring scene, and his no-nonsense approach to vehicle maintenance are what give ATOC Auto its competitive edge over other diesel and 4WD specialists.

Located at 13 Temple Rd, Belgrave South, our customer base is far reaching. Many of our customers have been coming to us for 34 years! For 4WD modifications and guaranteed quality servicing, call Aaron to discuss your own special needs and a quote.

Like we always say, a vehicle must be well maintained. Like yourself, it must be prepared for the rigours of street life and the outback, so start preparing months before your intended travel. This will avoid any big bills prior to going and ensure a great trip is on the cards.
